The 50th Anniversary of the Second Vatican Council ~ The Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy

Who would have thought that the man that was supposed to be "just a caretaker Pope," John, the Twenty-Third would set in motion one of the most important events of the Twentieth Century ~ The Second Vatican Council. It changed the Catholic Church in unimaginable ways. And most of all, it changed the Church's liturgy dramatically. I have loved the sacred liturgy since I was a boy; and now it flows through my bloodstream. So, on the Council's anniversary I'm excited to reflect with you on the liturgy documents and those changes in this reflection / letter.
